The U12 Manhattan Titans played in the Salina Tournament over the weekend. Like the saying goes, "Win some, Lose some" and that was the reality of it this weekend. While they put the sticks to good work, our defense found us in trouble. Guess it just means that this game really is about fundamentals and you are never too good to keep working on the basics. We started off Saturday afternoon playing the Hays Rangers. With a 4 point lead, we ended up losing 6 to 5. We then played again that evening against the Salina Rays. That game was much better, with a win of 16 to 1.....called due to the run rule. Sunday started early for us with a 9:00am game against the Cloud County Choppers. The Titans got a win with a score of 3 to 2. Which leads us into our last game against the Salina Reds. Not much to say except that we didn't end up with the "W". We had a pretty good lead and ended up losing 11 to 10.

Landis staying hydrated........looks like Dad is having a more sophisticated snack.
Lane started off on the mound against the Hays Rangers.
Really?........who is doing this kids laundry. Grant making sure he is the dirtiest.
Noah's last at bat, as Noah really took one for the team with a hard hit on the head. He made a trip to the ER and was diagnosed with a concussion. Luckily, all looked pretty good, as far as concussions go, and no need to wake him up every couple of hours.
